| Keynote Speaker
Richard P. Kern Memorial Award and Keynote Address
The National Association of Sentencing Commissions (NASC) established the Rick P. Kern Memorial Award and Keynote Address to recognize an individual who has contributed greatly to the development of sentencing policy and research. The award was named after Richard P. Kern, the Director of the Virginia Criminal Sentencing Commission and a great friend to NASC. Rick passed away in 2011 after a 14-year battle with cancer. His presence and contributions are greatly missed.

| Registration is now open
The 2014 National Association of Sentencing Commissions Annual Conference will be August 3-6 in New Haven Connecticut, hosted by the Connecticut Sentencing Commission.
Conference registration is $300 before July 10th or $350 after July 10th
Registration includes a dinner and reception on Monday night- make sure you indicate on your registration form if you will be able to attend. Conference attendees are welcome to bring guests to this dinner. The cost for guests will be $50. Please indicate that you will be bringing a guest on your registration form.

Cancellation Policy
The NASC cancellation policy allows for a full refund before July 7, 2014. A cancellation after July 10, but before July 25, will require a $50 administrative fee withheld from the refund. No refunds will be permitted after July 25, 2014.
All cancellations must be received by NASC in writing and must be acknowledged with a confirmation email.
